[cmath.syn] p2 bullet 3 says
"Otherwise, all arguments of arithmetic type corresponding to double parameters have type float."

We should rephrase this slightly or add a note explaining that this is the only logically remaining option not covered by the "if"s in the preceding bullets. I'd suggest to insert "must" here, but the word is slightly... burnt.

Oh, and the numbered bullets should be converted to plain un-numbered ones; they don't seem to convey an ordering not already represented by "if ... otherwise".
