Some notes start with a captitalized first word, others do not. We should pick one of these styles and apply it consistently. [Note: At this point I'm thinking capitalizing the word is the better choice, because the word 'Note' isn't really part of the text and (for instance) we might want to replace it with an image in an HTML version of the standard.]
